The outdoors has shaped every part of who I am. Whether I’m wading into a remote trout stream, walking a field behind a bird dog, or waiting quietly in the golden light for just the right photograph, my life has always revolved around wild places and the pursuit of honest adventure.
I grew up in Pennsylvania, where I learned to cast a fly, shoulder a shotgun, and tune my eye to the rhythms of nature. Trout streams, deer trails, grouse coverts—it all became part of my foundation. That early connection to the land has led me across North and South America, fly rod and camera in hand, in pursuit of fish, game, and unforgettable moments.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding anglers on iconic waters like the Upper Delaware River and the vast rivers of Montana. Along the way, I’ve taught fly casting and on-stream tactics to everyone from total beginners to seasoned anglers chasing that next breakthrough. I also offer field coaching for wingshooters, helping hunters fine-tune their skills and confidence in the field.
In addition to guiding, I present regularly at fly fishing clubs, outdoor shows, and sporting events, covering topics ranging from destination angling and wingshooting to advanced techniques and gear. And through my lens, I try to capture the soul of these experiences--photography has become a powerful way for me to share not just where I go, but how these wild places feel.
