Where: Venice, LouisianaWhen:Mid August.
We had a tip that August was a sleeper season as most travel to Louisiana for the big Reds in the winter. We were not disappointed as we were able to hook and land several nice redfish plus a bull weighing over 40 pounds! Where we stayed:Writers Cabin in the Delta
The writer’s cabin, nestled amongst cypress trees, is the perfect place to unplug and relax. Share your morning coffee on the screened porch (not pictured) with the birds. Have a backyard barbeque near the water. Enjoy the canal with the provided kayaks and stand up paddle board. After dark relax by the fire pit. This spot is just five minutes from a marina. Sleeps five comfortably. Your getaway at the Writer's Cabin in the Delta will be one to remember. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/47252930?source_impression_id=p3_1631626678_tbnl27sj0xR%2FdFOp&guests=1&adults=1 |
