I grew up in Pennsylvania, where I first learned to cast a fly rod and chase trout on small local streams. The Upper Delaware River quickly became my proving ground—it’s a place that’s both beautiful and tough, and it gave me a solid foundation that’s shaped the way I fish everywhere I go. Alongside the coldwater trout streams, I spent plenty of time on warmwater creeks and lakes, catching anything that would eat a fly. That variety helped fuel a lifelong passion for exploring new waters.
While most of my fishing time has been spent across North America, I’m always ready for the next adventure. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to fish in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Montana, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wyoming. I’ve also made my way across Canada, with memorable trips to Labrador, Ontario, and Quebec.
South America has pulled me in as well--Argentina and Chile are now among my favorite places in the world to fish. Each destination brings something new, but what always stays the same is my love for the water, the challenge of the fish, and the adventure of the unknown.
