Growing up in Pennsylvania and learning to fish with a fly rod gave Ray a head start on his freshwater fish collection. While trout fishing near his home, the Upper Delaware was special and challenging and gave Ray an advantage for his future endeavors across the globe. Along with the Upper Delaware there was plenty of warm water that were eager to take the bait. Although Ray has spent most of his time fishing in North America, he is always ready for new opportunities wherever they may arise. He has ventured to states like Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana Maine, Michigan, New Jersey,North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Montana, Wyoming, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia. He has also explored various provinces in Canada such as Labrador,Ontario, and Quebec
